Heritage Day Festival at China Camp
Join MCCA and Friends of China Camp for our annual Heritage Day Festival at China Camp State Park on Saturday, August 24th @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.
This event is handicap accessible. Overflow shuttle parking will be available at the China Camp Ranger Station.

Marin Dragons is still looking for a few more paddlers. The only qualifications are: " Have fun, showing up to practices, and being a team player – that’s what dragon boating is all about." No experience needed. Must be 14 or older.

Celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in Marin!

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM), now officially proclaimed Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, takes place in May and is a celebration of the culture, traditions, and history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
2015 Asian Scholarship Fund Awards Luncheon
The new Asian Scholarship winners were honored at a luncheon, 11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m., May 31 at the Ping's Mandarin Restaurant, 817 W. Francisco Blvd., San Rafael. Over 60 participants were on hand to celebrate with the scholarship winners and their parents and supporters. Scholarship winners are Ankoor Patel, Danielle Faulkner, Adil Modan, Austin Tran, Thu Dam, Dean Zucconi, Mia Klenk, Linh Huynh, Manish Patel. These scholarship recipients are needy and truly outstanding students from Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. Individually, each has earned numerous academic and community service awards in high school; collectively they are the finest high school seniors of our community.
If a high school senior (heading for college in Fall, 2016) is interested in applying for an Asian Scholarship next year, please see the website at 10,000 Degrees and go to Asian Scholarship Fund. You will find it's very rewarding to sere on the board because it is satisfying to give awards to deserving students.
